Text Translation API based Services is about using Neural Machine Translation (NMT) to transform the text from one language into another. This is a service for the automatic translation of text from different Indian languages to English and vice versa. This service can perform translations for 11 Indian languages, i.e., Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.

The User Department / Ministry using NIC Cloud VM can request for translation service by filling out the Translation Service Request Form the first time they are applying for the service on MeghRaj Cloud of NIC and briefly describing the use case. The user needs to provide the project name and a brief description of where the service will be used. The User must include a User Request Letter as well as the language(s) from which they require translation services from -> to.
